Reformed vegetarian and fusspot embarking on an adventure to cook her way from head to tail.
After almost 15 years of being the fussiest vegetarian I was tempted back to meat by…ummm… the Hot Sausage Company… Since then however I’ve become passionate about researching and cooking with meat produced in a sustainable way, from animals given a full a life as possible. I believe that meat should be treated with the respect it deserves.
This blog is my challenge to cook with as many cuts and types of meat and offal as I can until my conversion from vegetarian to fully fledged meat-girl is completed!
I live in Cambridge with my husband, where we are lucky enough to have a range of fab butchers and farm shops and lots of unsuspecting friends to test recipes on.
